HOW TO REMOVE STURBBORN PROGRAMS
A new computer normally has trial anti-virus software installed. For example Dell Computer may install Norton Anti
Virus on each system unless the customer prefers something else. Norton Anti Virus comes with a 30-day or 60-day
trial. However, if you do not renew the subscription, Norton will fail to protect your computer. Many users are
unaware that Norton stills loads when Windows XP or Vista boots, even if Norton Anti Virus is removed or is not
current. Norton will slow down your operating system due to it's massive entries into Windows registry and other
places. In my opinion the worst thing about Norton is that it normally cannot be removed from Windows by simply
going to control panel and selecting the add/remove icon. If you need to remove any version of Norton/Symantec
products CLICK HERE NOW FREE NORTON REMOVAL TOOL. This quickly and completely removes any and all
Norton/Symantec products and again it is Free. Please note you need to know which version of Norton that you
have before you download. Once you removed Norton you need to check for any other bogus Anti Virus

this list you need to go to the control panel and click on the add/remove icon and find the program and remove it. If

Here is a valuable insight to getting rid of viruses. You need to turn off the system restore. The system restore
is a useful tool but does have an unfortunate habit of becoming corrupted and It is unreliable. Unfortunately you
cannot detect failure until you try to restore the Registry, then it is too late of course. System restore waste disk

What I normally do is backup my documents on a USB Key, for a great selection of USB Keys and other products
CLICK HERE.
Now you need to download SmitFraudFix, CLICK HERE NOW. This is one of the best free Malware, Spy Ware,and
Adware remover I have seen online. Not only is it FREE the author updates the program almost every other day.
Once downloaded, just double click on the SmitFraudFix icon. It will open a DOS window with some copyright
information. Just hit the space bar and you will get a list of choices. Always select option 4, this will check for any
updates. Follow the directions on the screen. As of 01/10/2009 the current version is 2.388. I have never had any
problems with this software. I have been using it for more than a year. After SmitFraudFix is updated you need to
pick option 2. Just so you know this very powerful tool will kill all processes which may seem like your system is
shutting down. Please note you may loose your desktop background picture so know where your background files
are located so you can get them back if it is removed by SmitFraudFix. Do not touch your computer or keyboard.
Allow SmitFraudFix to complete the process. Depending on the speed of your computer and the degree of infection,
it may take up to 45 minutes. Next you will receive a command line option that will ask you if you want to clean the
registry, always check yes. SmitFraudFix will continue to clean the registry and remove all .tmp files which are not
needed and will clog up your hard drive. Once SmitFraudFix finishes, it will bring your icons back and you can
resume command over your system. The SmitFraudFix command window should still be on your screen. Now pick
option 5, this will remove any browser Hijacks. Browser Hijacks are define as your Internet browser home page is
changed without your knowledge. Another form of Browser hijack is you type in Google.com, instead of going to the
Google home page it goes to a different search engine than Google or some type of ad. Hijack Browser is a very
common sign that your computer is infected by spyware/adware or viruses.
If SmithfruadFix does not fix your spyware/adware issues. You may need additional software. I have seen that
SmitFraudFix can not seem to fix or repair AntiSpywareXP2009. AntiSpywareXP 2009 is a rogue antispyware
program that will shut SmithFraudFix down when ran. It will disable the task manager and not allow you to boot to
safe mode. This program is not free however I believe it is worth the money Click Here Now. Please note if this does
not work. I recommend that you reload your operating system. Immediately after you reload your operating system
you need to install an a good Anti Virus. I recommend Avast, click here now.
The next step in this process is run Ccleaner. Another great free resources that I recently discovered. Ccleaner is
a Freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing
Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as
your Internet history. Additionally it contains a fully featured registry cleaner. It's FREE, ADWARE/SPYWARE FREE

Congratulations. You should now have a clean virus/adware/spyware FREE computer which is more stable and
